One of the original charcoal portraits from 2018, this is Dp simply pondering something. This 8″ x 11″ black and white charcoal portrait is on 40 lb drawing paper. It is not mounted on a backer board.

I believe this was the first portrait I did of Dp. I remember still being afraid of goofing up drawing the P’nti’s eyes and long fingers. It had been 40 years since I’d done any kind of portrait drawing and I pleaded with Tlkm to help me to get the details right. – Su
