Handpipes

I asked Jll about instruments she knew how to play and. we didn’t have here. She showed me these hanging handpipes. The player adds a touch of. resin to their hands and then pulls down on the crystal pipes of various lengths to produce melodic sound. This 8″ x 8″ original pastel portrait of Jll was done on 140# black paper using pastel pencils. It is matted iwth a 12″x 12″ black mat that includes the backer board.
